I hold a permanent grudge against "Coffee Shop" because when I was 18 and went there on a "date", the bouncer rejected the fake ID I had but instead of simply handing it back to me (which is what bouncers do), he took it, threatened to confiscate it and report me, and said he would give it back to me only if I gave him $50. Not to mention the guy I was on the date with was himself a real douche, but that's irrelevant.
But Bookworm, don't let this little anecdote deter you from patronizing Coffee Shop. I'm sure they've long since gotten rid of that guy, and this was all many years ago.
